Spirit of St Simons is a homebuilt 36′ sailing catamaran designed by Kurt Hughes. She’s is designed for the day charter trade, and constructed in such a way that the major parts can be disassembled and packed inside a shipping container, to be sent anywhere in the world.

The Spirit of St Simons holds a  USCG  Certificate of Inspection , and is authorized to carry up to 24 Passengers. She is the only certified sailing vessel operating in the state of Georgia.

The deck layout is open, with plenty of space to sit, in a variety of seats, or up forward on the bow webbings. The webbings are made of car seat belt material and have been tested to support  3700 lbs.
